Lawnmower confronts apple-stealing moose, moose wins

Technically Incorrect: Some animals realize that gadgets can be defeated. Quite easily, as this delightful YouTube video shows.

They say machines are taking over the world.

They say they'll dominate us and tell us what to do.

Will it be so simple?

As my evidence to the contrary, might I present a lawnmower apparently sent to intimidate a moose.

The moose was clearly having a good time. The moose was stealing apples from a tree. The moose is just the right height to do this.

The lawnmower is just the wrong height to take on the moose.

In a Norwegian YouTube video that has already enjoyed almost half a million views, we see the blessed confrontation.

It takes about as long as your average sumo wrestling bout.

The lawnmower approaches. The moose eats.

Suddenly, with a glorious flick of just one leg, the lawnmower is stopped in its tracks.

It's as if, you might think, the moose had eyes in the side of its head.

The moose doesn't stop eating, as it stares down at the lawnmower as if to say: "You think you're so clever, don't you? Weirdo."

You see, machine creators, some natives of the earth know that you're not actually making the world a better place.

You're interfering with simple animal pleasures.
