This September, Minecraft lovers on the Xbox 360 will be able to travel across time and space as Blocktor Who, who with his trusty companion Clara Blockswald travels to distant planets to defeat the Cyblockmen and the Dablecks.

On Wednesday, the BBC announced a partnership with Microsoft Studios and Mojang, the developer of Minecraft, that will bring a series of "Doctor Who"-themed expansions to Minecraft for the Xbox 360 game console.

The first expansion will cost $2.99 in the US, £1.99 in the UK and AU$2.95 in Australia. It'll feature blocky versions of five Doctors (including Peter Capaldi as the 12th Doctor), each of their on-screen companions, and a consortium of villains including the Daleks. There will also be several skin packs released in coming months that will bring more Doctors and nemeses.
