It's happening! Peter Griffin and Homer Simpson are finally going to meet, and you can be sure hilarity will ensue.

Will Homer choke Stewie? Will Peter grind everyone's gears? We won't know for sure until the "Family Guy"-"The Simpsons" crossover episode airs on September 28. But based on this teaser clip from the show, which was shown at San Diego Comic-Con, a Griffin-Simpson mashup is going to make for some pretty funny viewing.

In the clip, Homer and Peter share their love of donuts, Stewie and Bart make a few prank phone calls to bartender Moe Szyslak, and a nuclear meltdown at the power plant gives Homer and Peter superhuman powers. Several peripheral "Simpsons" characters make an appearance, and Bob Belcher from "Bob's Burgers" and Cleveland from "Family Guy" and "The Cleveland Show" also make cameos.

Of course, there's a joke about what state Springfield is in, where Brian quips that they aren't allowed to say. I guess even the Griffins can't solve that age-old mystery.
