With Windows 10, each time you connect to a new network, you have the option to share with your contacts on Outlook, Skype, and Facebook.
So when friends and family members come over, they won't have to manually have to enter in a password.
There's been a lot of fuss about this feature but your friends won't actually know your exact password because its encrypted and stored in the cloud.
Either way you can choose to typically not share the information when connecting to a new network or you can disable the feature all together.
This can be done by going to Settings, selecting Network and Internet followed by Wi-Fi.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Manage Wi-Fi Settings, then uncheck the three options to share your network.
Below that you can also unshare any networks that you previously shared.
Up top you can turn off the ability to automatically connect open hot spots and networks shared by your contacts.
Now, turning off the sharing feature is only one small part of the equation.
If you wanna make sure connected users can't share your network with their contacts You have to add _optout to the end of your network's name.
This method is different depending on your wireless router.
