A wearable for your four-legged friend (Tomorrow Daily 227)

Khail welcomes Cybernova to the show in Ashley's absence to discuss a dog collar with a huge list of features, the television industry's interest in virtual reality, and a couple of handy dads that have created some awesome "Star Wars" gear for their infants.

Khail and Cybernova shake things up while Ashley is away. They are joined by a special canine guest to discuss a high-tech dog collar that uses GPS and Bluetooth technology to track your pet's location and activity. Not only will you be able to monitor their location and activity, but the collar also uses LED lights to give them some extra flair.

With more and more television subscribers cutting the cord, cable companies are looking for new ways to reach fans of TV. The nonprofit research organization CableLabs is studying virtual reality in hopes of finding new ways to monetize the medium by increasing the demand for faster Internet connections.

Finally, two different dads have both created "Star Wars" gear for their young padawans. The father of Jack, an infant suffering from congenital craniosynostosis, made a series of corrective helmets similar to some of the rebellion's best. Using a portable Lego building station, another dad made his daughter a rocker that looks like a speeder bike, complete with LED and sound effects.

Ashley will be back tomorrow, but in the meantime, check out Cybernova's YouTube channel for more geek fun.
