Geek Nerd Clock
It's time to extermin-eight. LetterThings

There have already been many geeky watches that require the wearer to use brainpower to decipher the time. Just check out the Binary Wristwatch for an example. The Geek Nerd Clock from LetterThings on Etsy is less about arithmetic and more about your extensive knowledge of all things geek nerdy.

On the surface, the clock's look is pretty plain. Measuring just under 9 inches across, it has a white face with black hands and lettering. Instead of sporting numerals like a normal clock, each hour is marked by a geeky reference.

Let's get started. Commander Riker from "Star Trek: The Next Generation" kicks things off -- aka "Number One." "The droids you were looking for" clock in for the slot at 2. The Triwizard Tournament from Harry Potter takes the third slot -- minus the Tri. Narnia gives rise to the fourth, and so on, returning to some of these beloved geek properties and bringing in others such as "Doctor Who" and "The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy."

The 12 o'clock spot is reserved for the 12 Doctors. Of course, the clock will become out-of-date should the number of Doctors grow. Plus, you could spend some time debating whether or not John Hurt's War Doctor should be included in the count already. But that's half the fun of this clock. If it sparks a few good-hearted geeky arguments, then it's going above and beyond the job of just telling time.

The clock is available to challenge and delight your nerdy friends for $23 (about £15, AU$30, ships worldwide).
