Just a day after first hearing rumors about the HTC One M9 flagship phone with a camera that's rethought from the one in today's One M8 , a conflicting rumor points to an even more powerful handset with a different name.

According to new reports from Twitter source @upleaks, HTC's next-gen monster could be the 5-inch "Hima." Alleged to boast an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor (comprising four 2GHz cores and four 1.5GHz cores) with 3GB RAM, the phone could arrive as soon as March 2015.

The camera situation sounds intriguing -- the rear could pack a 20.7-megapixel shooter. Around front, this tipster says either a 13-megapixel or 4-megapixel "UltraPixel" camera could make selfie files larger and more detailed.

Interestingly enough, the Hima's screen could be 5 inches with 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution. By contrast, the One M9 is said to have a 5.5-inch display with a 2,560x1,440-pixel resolution. A smaller and likely more pocketable Hima would also place less demand on the rumored 2,840mAh battery.

In terms of the OS, it would certainly run Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC's Sense 7.0 custom user interface. The Hima is reportedly undergoing carrier testing and should find a home with all major players when it's released, a major hallmark of a flagship phone.

M9 or Hima, we'll closely track any other rumors that bubble up.
