The full screen button for applications on your Mac has moved with the release of the OS-10 Yosemite.
You will no longer find located upper right corner in the applications window.
The full screen button has actually replaced the green maximize button found next to the red close button and orange minimize button.
To enter full screen mode in Yosemite simply tap the green button.

If you wanna edit it full screen mode, move your cursor to the top edge of the screen.
This will make the menu bar, along with the green full sized button and red close button, visible again.
All you have to do is press the green button to exit.
In some apps, however, such as Chrome, the full screen button remains visible in full screen mode, regardless of where your cursor is.
Now, before you go off and start a hashtag war against Apple for removing the maximize button.
I can assure you, it's.
Still there, it's just a little hidden.
To access it, all you have to do is hold down the Option key and move your cursor to the green full-screen button.
You will then see that familiar plus icon, to maximize the window.
